I’ve had this conversation with a few people including my surgeon but I still think it makes sense. If the chemo treatments give me a 20% increase in my chances of not getting cancer again, then each treatment should equal 5% since I’m having 4 of them, shouldn’t they? So if I wanted to stop now, that means I’ve increased my chance of not getting cancer by 5%. If the treatment on Tuesday is as bad as the last one and I decide I can’t do it anymore, shouldn’t my chances be increased by 10% to a total of 70% of not getting cancer again? Isn’t that enough?
