All the breast cancer stories I see, ok, most of them, all talk about the survivors having a positive attitude. They got through it all with a positive attitude. How can someone have a positive attitude 24/7? I don’t think anyone can be that way all the time. I do see myself as being positive. I don’t have cancer anymore-that’s positive. I get perky boobs at 48-that’s positive. But on a day to day basis it’s hard to maintain that attitude when you’re in pain, or throwing up (ok, I’m positive about that because I haven’t vomited) or, like today when I think my hair may be falling out. I could be wrong and I hope I am, but it is inevitable. And it’s hard to turn going bald into a positive.
